Description Vacancy : Data Modeller/ Data Analyst

Do you want to work with data, improve controls of the bank and be part of a squad that play a central role in a continuous changing environment? In this role you will have the opportunity to work with data and analyse processes with the goal to define and implement
Reconciliations.
As a Data Modeler you will be a member of the Asteroid squad. This squad receives, processes and standardizes data for reporting within the Markets & Treasury tribe. The squad operates at the core of the bank to provide standardized and structured data for various type of use cases and consumers.

You and your talent The ideal candidate possesses

• Experience in data governance with an emphasis on data modelling. Experience could show through:

 o 7 years of work experience in a large-scale and complex environment, with a focus on data processing o 5 years of experience in operational data management activities, business intelligence, and/or data warehousing 

• Hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling. Design and implement scalable data models. 

• Experience with translating relational data models into XML
• Experience with data warehouses and big data platforms 

• Knowledge & hands on experience of data modeling principles including conceptual and logical data models 

• Knowledge of metadata management and related tools( Develop and maintain metadata repositories and data catalogs to improve data discovery,
lineage tracking, and impact analysis) 

• Database Design and Normalization

 • Practical experience of working with data modelling tools like ERWIN DATA MODELER, ER/STUDIO, Power Designer or tools of similar nature

 • Proficient in English on a professional level. 

• Knowledge of Financial Markets.

Following skills will be nice to have • Ability to utilize Business Intelligence tools to represent insights • Understanding of Data Governance and Compliance • Integrate real-time and streaming data sources into existing data models ensuring seamless compatibility with batch processing systems • Implement data quality and consistency checks using advanced validation techniques and automated testing frameworks to maintain model integrity • Hands on experience in creating data models, aligned with Azure cloud data platforms, Azure cloud native services, Databricks Lakehouse • Domain knowledge in markets & treasury; Investment banking areas is a plus
