Rabobank’s Procurement & Vendor Management department & team
Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM) is a unit within Rabobank of approximately 90 FTE with a global procurement responsibility. The department contributes to a strong cooperative bank by delivering the services Strategic category management, Sourcing and contracting, Supply risk management, Supplier and contract life cycle management, Requisition to Pay and Data & analytics.

You and your job
PVM Category & Supplier Management (CSM) is responsible for supporting procurement projects and providing procurement knowledge to their stakeholders across the organisation. You will be part of the CSM team where you will work in the Process and Operational Excellence team.
As a sourcing support buyer, you will assist and manage both operational and tactical procurement projects. Your role will involve supporting contract owners by addressing their questions, coordinating, and guiding them through the key steps of the source-2-contract process. Additionally, you will focus on providing support for contract owners with administrative inquiries and tasks.
Your main tasks include:
• Take on and handle (low value, non complex) sourcing projects through appropriate PVM systems (SAP)
• Keep (process) oversight on operational/simplified projects throughout their lifecycle term
• Take calls and emails to assist/coordination in daily problem solving for business and suppliers
• Take ownership on different (administrative) tasks to final resolution for business and supplier
• Be the single point of contact for suppliers: coordinate and solve questions
• Support Go Live of P2P process
You and your talent:
• Basic procurement process and systems Knowledge
• Pro-active, service- and customer minded
• Can keep oversight and overview
• Is stimulated by helping people and solving issues
• Quick understanding of systems and processes
• Have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Possess knowledge of working with ERP systems, preferably SAP Ariba
Good communication skills, fluently Dutch and English
