The Technical Lead will work on a high-priority project focused on migrating the organization from Windows 10 to Windows 11, implementing application deployment and patch management, and ensuring alignment with global modern workplace standards. The consultant will define and enforce technology guidelines, oversee the management of endpoint devices (via MECM and Intune), and provide expertise in application packaging and deployment. He or She will technically lead the project support team, coordinate the technical topics with regional stakeholders. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to
accommodate shifting priorities resulting from an ongoing organizational merger.
The Technical Lead will ensure a consistent and efficient rollout of modern workplace technologies across the regions.
1. Lead the end-to-end migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 together with
senior engineers, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with organizational
objectives.
2. Implement AutoPilot with centralized application deployment and patch
management across the organization.
3. Oversee endpoint management, ensuring consistent and secure device
management practices.
4. Work with regional teams on the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI/SBC)
solutions, including Citrix, to ensure seamless integration and performance.
5. Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align strategies and address
challenges during the project lifecycle.
6. Lead the engineers in the project team focused on the modern workspace,
fostering collaboration across regions and aligning efforts with global objectives.
7. Work closely with Security, Enterprise Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to
ensure the alignment of strategies and compliance with organizational standards.
Windows 11 project will start in 2025: aimed result is:
- Follow timeline with roll-out Windows 11 and new Citrix environment (all 2025,
perhaps part of 2026)
