Freelance Trade Finance Officer
Are you an experienced Trade Finance professional looking for a flexible, independent role within a dynamic and international environment? We are seeking a Freelance Trade Finance Officer to temporarily support our Finance team at our Rotterdam office.

As a Freelance Trade Finance Officer, you will play a key role in reviewing and managing various financial instruments related to international trade. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate financial risks and ensure smooth trade transactions.

Your Responsibilities:
* Reviewing incoming documentary credits, stand-by letters of credit, and guarantees;
* Issuing and approving outgoing stand-by letters of credit and guarantees;
* Actively monitoring, assessing, and identifying risks associated with trade finance transactions;
* Preparing case-by-case and periodic reports;
* Maintaining communication with banks and providing relevant financial information to internal stakeholders;
* Acting as the primary point of contact for letters of credit and other financial securities.

What We Are Looking For:
* A degree (HBO or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field;
* Relevant experience in Trade Finance;
* Strong analytical and communication skills;
* Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail;
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
* Strong relationship management skills;
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
* Eagerness to understand the complexities of a global commodity business.
