Generation Controller in BU Offshore



Responsibilities & Tasks


The following main tasks are in the responsibility of the Generation Controller in the BU Offshore of BA Wind:



•    Supporting the senior business controllers of the operational windfarms in NL, DK (and potentially DE) with running the Planning & Control cycle for those windfarms


•    Preparing monthly accruals, analyzing monthly results including analysis of volumes, revenues and costs and communicating them to various stakeholders


•    Providing support to the joint-venture controllers of the co-owned windfarms Hollandse Kust Zuid (NL) and Vesterhav (DK) (and potentially DantyskSandbank (DE), including cash flow forecasting


•    Project controller for special projects run in the specified windfarms, including master data management and project controlling


•    Support the team in relevant audits and internal controls testing


•    Ad hoc participation in projects and improvement initiatives.



Education/Qualification


•    University degree (or similar experience based level) in a relevant field (i.e. controlling, economics, accounting or finance)


•    Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills


•    Previous SAP experience is a plus



Experience 5+ years


•    You have experience in financial closing, reporting and controlling tasks from earlier jobs;


•    You bring experience in financial systems (preferably SAP) so you can be a self-starter the role in that perspective;


•    Experience in handling different stakeholders (both internal and external), being able to communicate effectively with different layers of the organization.



Skills, knowledge, strengths


•    Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (local country + English)


•    Strong team player, willingness to help others out and deliver against deadlines;


•    Ability to work independently with a hands-on and pragmatic mind set.


•    Open and active.
