Description Vacancy : Sr UX Designer Identity and Access Management
Employees expect the same thing as customers: well-designed experiences.
But the IT landscape is becoming increasingly complex, especially in the context of banking, as we must ensure employees and machines have access to the right assets at the right time and for the right reasons (and only then). This is what Tribe IAM aims to do, a department that is responsible for managing all identities and access permissions to our global network.
We are looking for a UX Designer with service design capabilities to help us create a user-friendly way to access and consume IAM services in the future.
You and your job:
As a designer in Chapter Design, you’ll be part of the Agency team, you will be working on new products and services and/or improving the experience of existing ones. Your focus will be the User Interface 4 IAM Desk.
You will work on improving the way how internal customers can access and make use of IAM services in their end-to-end journeys. You will deep-dive into the status quo to empathize with our internal customers and translate their needs into validated, digital solutions. For this, you will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams together with the business, product owners, developers, behavioural scientists and other experts.
Your role
As a UX designer, your main task will be to research, conceptualize, design and improve user journeys for internal solutions. You will work together in a small design team and provide our internal stakeholders with both reactive and proactive advice to tackle business and design challenges.
Your responsibilities
Align - and challenge internal stakeholders about design projects, the approach and scope of deliverables.
Structure and lead internal design projects, support other designers and researchers and collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality outcome and implementation of pixel-perfect designs.
Be responsible for all steps in the research and design process to make the right choices from a user centred perspective. If necessary, you involve other designers and specialists to help you with this.
Gain insight into the needs of our internal customers by preparing and executing user research, and translate these insights into a future state in collaboration with the team.
Apply the Rabobank design system during concept development and design new components to extend our library.
Validate your own work with mock-ups, prototypes and usability testing .
Your talent
We are looking for a T-shaped UX designer who can use creativity, problem-solving and communication skills to navigate the complex context of a bank and IT.
You have at least 5 years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership of large, complex design projects while being able to translate complex problems into simple and intuitive solutions.
You see the challenge in working with complex user interfaces and you are both a structured strategic thinker and a creator of pixel-perfect designs.
You conveniently manoeuvre through large organisations and know how to get support for your ideas and concepts.
You are fluent with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and strong in user research methods and creative facilitation.
Knowledge of- and/or demonstrable affinity with Service Design methodologies is a plus.
Familiarity with the concept of identity and access management is a plus.
You have experience with delivering final designs and supporting the development teams to implement them.
You can communicate professionally in English.
Together we achieve more
